How to Set Up a Weekly Review Routine in Notion (That You’ll Actually Stick To)
A simple 4-step weekly review system using one of our free templates to keep your goals on track without the overwhelm.
I used to let Sundays slip by without a plan, and by Monday I was already behind. A weekly review changed everything — not because I added more tasks, but because I gave myself space to reflect.
Here’s the routine: every Sunday, I open my Notion Weekly Review dashboard. I start with a 5-minute brain dump — anything on my mind goes into a quick note. Then I check my goals from the previous week: what got done, what didn’t, and why. No judgment, just data.
Next, I clean up my tasks. I archive what’s done, reschedule what’s not, and pick 3 priorities for the coming week. Finally, I set one intention — something I want to feel or accomplish that’s not on my to-do list. That’s it. 20 minutes, and I feel ready.
You can grab our free Weekly Review template in the shop. It’s pre-built with sections for brain dump, goal check, and intention setting. Duplicate it and make it yours.
